GASTHOF BATZENHÄUSL – WHERE TRADITION IS AT HOME
Quaint, cozy, welcoming
Our most original hotel in Seefeld
In anticipation of the upcoming vacation in Seefeld
As the first operation of the family Kaltschmid’s Gasthof Batzenhäusl had been in use since 1954 for a rustic, cosy atmosphere with the distinctive Tyrolean charm. You can look forward to an unforgettable holiday!
Traditionally decorated, we pamper you in our restaurant with regional dishes, from the popular Tyrolean cuisine. It has changed since 1962, nothing, as Fritz Kaltschmid took over with just 19 years, the Batzenhäusl. And it will change in the future. Here is not only cooked real Tyrolean and fresh, but every day you can also feel the traditions and charme.
Enjoy with us
The hours fly by in a relaxed atmosphere. On our sun terrace or in the dining room with delicious food and a refreshing beer.

Hiking in the nature
Do you fancy a hiking holiday in Seefeld? Then pack your hiking equipment and explore the Olympiaregion Seefeld. Wide, flat, barrier-free promenade hiking trails, impressive untouched nature and an incomparable panorama make the three themed trails of our Olympic region a unique vacation experience.
Enjoy typically Austrian cuisine
At the Gasthof Batzenhäusl (see information about the hotel), we serve Austrian home-style cooking. Of course, the Wiener Schnitzel is just as important as roast pork, Kaiserschmarren and apple strudel. You can also look forward to delicious Tyrolean delicacies such as bacon dumplings, cheese dumplings and the famous Tyrolean Gröstl. Everything is prepared from the best ingredients, refined with bacon, curd cheese and gray cheese.
Impressions from Seefeld
Charming, welcoming –
this is Tyrol!
Our hotel Batzenhäusl stands for traditional Tyrol. Regional dishes, rustic furnishings and genuine hospitality, surrounded by the Austrian Alps. Perfect vacation in summer and winter.
The cozy hotel remains unbeaten in two ways: in regard to its proximity to the town center and the cross-country ski trails. And in the evening, you simply come back for a hearty dinner and spend a few more pleasant hours in the Tyrolean parlor.
