Seefeld is the cross-country skiing region in Tyrol
On the Seefeld high plateau, there are optimal cross-country skiing conditions at 1,180 to 1,550 meters. This is well known to professionals! After all, Seefeld hosted the Winter Olympic Games in 1964 and 1976, followed by the Winter Youth Olympic Games in 2012. Moreover, also the Nordic World Ski Championships took place in Seefeld in 1985 and 2019. For many years, numerous professional athletes have been using this ski area as a meeting point for their season preperations.

Due to the close proximity of our hotel to the cross-country ski trails, you are guaranteed to reach the latter directly and without detours. Friends of the classic style will get their money’s worth on a total of 245 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails, while freestylers can let off steam on 112 kilometers of skating trails.
Cross-country skiing in the Seefeld region
On the longest trail in the Unterleutasch region, you run around 14 kilometers along the striking Arnspitze and Arnplattenspitze. This flat course also promises beginners a manageable and unforgettable experience in nature. Furthermore, there are a few places to stop for a break along the barrier-free route.
The C 9, Plaik, has some highlights and surprises in store for advanced cross-country skiers. The strenuous ascent is eventually rewarded with a stunning view over Leutasch. At the end of the 8.7 kilometer loop, you can look forward to a rapid descent that will take you back to your starting point.
Night cross-country skiing in Seefeld
Special highlights are the three-kilometer night trail between Seefeld and Mösern and the 400-meter-long short route at the Alpenbad Leutasch. Here you can ski through the sparkling, snow-covered landscape every day between 5 and 8 p.m.
Cross-country skiing with your dog
The 1.5 kilometer long dog trail in Leutschach offers mistresses, masters (whether skaters or classic cross-country skiers) and their beloved four-legged friends a perfect route to work out together. Your loyal companion can romp around in the snow to its heart’s content while you make your laps in the snow.
